Ease into the month with laid back Afrobeats Soul Sessions
End the month on a high, yet soothing note, at Carnival City’s Mardi Gras Theatre, which presents the outrageously popular Afrobeats Soul Sessions, on the last Sunday of every month, from 3pm to 10pm.
A mature event, where friends and couples can connect and enjoy soulful music in an intimate and sophisticated setting, Afrobeats Soul Sessions features seasoned DJs such as Wilson B Nkosi (Metro FM), Thabo Mokwele (Kaya FM), Muzi Nkosi, a local DJ and the event organiser, DJ Sphiwe (formerly from Kaya FM).
They play their favourite songs and reminisce with the crowd, later mingling with the audience.
Regularly attracting high profile guests and local celebs, Afrobeats Soul Sessions is a vibrant music event that has continued to grow in popularity since it was introduced.
