Mysterious dusty baby’s coffin found next to dam
A passerby got the shock of his life when he recently stumbled across a dusty old baby's coffin next to the Cinderella Dam.
The passerby immediately called the police.
Boksburg SAPS spokesperson Lieut Kwendzakwakhe Ngobese, confirmed the discovery.
“It’s still unclear as to who trashed the apparently used coffin, but our detectives are investigating a case of malicious damage to property,” said Ngobese.
To try and solve the mystery, the coffin was taken to the Boksburg police station for fingerprinting.
Police suspect that someone dug up a grave, stole the unearthed human remains before dumping the coffin.
Ngobese urged residents of Boksburg to visit the different cemeteries to see if any of their graves appear to have been tampered with. -@FanieFLK
