ALERT: Water tankers provided during planned water supply interruption

Water tankers have been provided in efforts to minimise the inconvenience to customers during the planned water supply interruption in parts of Boksburg from 8am to 4pm on May 19, 20 and 21.

According to Themba Gadebe, metro spokesperson, water tankers will be made available to customers at various locations of the affected areas while Ekurhuleni technicians carry out a pressure drop tests on the water network.

Areas to be affected are as follows:

. Tuesday, May 19: Villa Liza, Mapleton extension 12
. Wednesday, May 20:  Dawn Park
. Thursday, May 21: Windmill Park

Rotational water tankers will be made available at the following points:

Tuesday: Lavender and Bulbnella Street, extension 3; Mosque and Primary School, Elephant Street;  Lama and Dandelion Streets, extension 2 and will move to the taxi rank between Freedom Park and Ulundi Informal Settlement; Loliwe Informal Settlement’s entrance in Nothern Road in Mapleton Agricultural Holdings and will rotate to all areas in Mapleton Agricultural Holdings south of the railway line.

Wednesday: Clinic in Cossins Road; West Central and Bushbuck Street and will rotate in the area; Galahad and Dagbreek Street opposite the new Shopping Centre and will rotate in the area; West Central and Janette Street (at the crèche) and will rotate in the area.

Thursday: At the high school in East Central and Basikelekile Street; At the open space after the entrance street in extension 16; At the playground/open space in extension 18; At the playground / open space in extension 12 Estate Complex.
