Owls starting to gel into a unit- Scheepers

The Owls are busy with pre-season friendlies ahead of the season kick off on April 11.

The Owls’ first side came short against Wits, going down 19-12, with the u-21s also emerging second best in a 30-21 loss.

The club’s second and third sides equalised against the university and Delmas respectively, with 19-3 and 13-12 wins.

“I think overall we played stronger opposition this time around,” said BRC chairman Sean Scheepers, referring to Wits and Delmas.

Any u-19 to 21 players looking to join the club can visit the Boksburg Rugby Club’s training sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 6.30pm, at their Prince George Park home ground.
