The Rock to hold Christmas Showdown
This year’s edition of the popular Rockmania Christmas Showdown promises to be a show-stopper as top drifting and racing drivers head for the Rock Raceway circuit on Saturday, December 13.
The biggest challenge will be on the drifting scene where Mozambican drifters will take on their local counterparts in a friendly challenge. So, if you support Mozambique or South Africa, make up your supporting banner and come show your support.
It promises to be a sideways affair filled with plenty of tyre smoke and the adrenaline to match.
There will also be plenty of V8 action from Outlaw V8 Sprint Cars, and Lexus V8s will add further emphasis to the high power thrills.
A host of Oval Saloons Classes will also feature including the 1 600 Stock Rods, Retro Rods, Pinto Classes and Super Saloons. Open wheelers will include the Ninja Kids Racing SA aged between three and 12, Micro Midgets, 125 Karts and Formula 2 Midgets.
To add to the festivities, Formula N circuit cars will provide high speed action and promises to keep onlookers riveted as the drivers jostle for top positions around the tricky race circuit.
