Festive season: Check your car for free
Drivers across the nation can now get their car checked for free throughout November ahead of the festive season.
The free Holiday Safety Check Campaign, launched by Motor Industry Workshop Association (Miwa), was launched on Monday, November 1.
Vehicle owners may visit any one of the approximately 2200 workshops.

The mechanics will do a thorough check of the vehicle, which will include a road test and an assessment (includes lights, suspension, drive lines, brakes, tyres including the spare and tools, fluid levels, wipers and windscreen, V belts and exhaust).
Chairman of Miwa, Les Mc Master says: “If a problem is identified, the mechanic will be able to advise the vehicle owner and provide a quote for repairs needed. No repairs will be done without the consent of the owner.
“Don’t let vehicle issues ruin your holiday. Get your vehicle holiday-ready now.”
