Dealing with addiction in the family

The educational groups teaches people about addiction, and how to deal with addiction and addicts.

According to Alicia Benade, director/operations manager of the centre, the different aspects of addiction, addictive behaviours and situations, and living with an addict is explored.

“All parents, family members, guardians and loved ones of those struggling with an addiction, are urged to to attend these free sessions, since it helps to understand addiction and how to handle it successfully,” says Benade.

This month’s topic is conflict resolution and the group will be held at 11 Palm Avenue, Plantation.
