Boksburg FC says cheers to the season with two cups
The Boksburg Football Club picked up a cup double as four of its teams participated in the recent Eastern Gauteng Cup Finals Day in Germiston.
This was club’s biggest achievement in five years in its junior ranks.
The tournament saw the Blues’ u/14 side win the Shield trophy while the u/17 side emerged victorious in the Easterns Cup.
The u/10 and u/16 teams finished as runners-up in the Easterns Cup and Shield, respectively.
“Fantastic growth and some great coaches in our club have resulted in the teams achieving so much,” read a statement from the club.
Prize-giving and the club’s annual general meeting will take place at the Boksburg City Stadium on November 2. – @SabeloBoksburg
