Charity organisations take hands to aid families
The Round Table Boksburg 17, together with the Golden East Round Table 181, donated 260 much-needed blankets to Solidariteit Boksburg.
The blankets were sponsored by ADP Services.
This is a project Solidaritet takes on annually.
According to the vice-chairperson from Solidariteit Boksburg, Amanda Zeelie, the blankets will be distributed among 42 families, and the rest will be distributed among informal settlements.
“Even though we’ve got 42 families under our care, we try to give each person in a family their own blanket,” says Solidariteit Boksburg chairperson, Alida Reede.
