Sailing to the top
At the 2013 Sales Cadet Graduation, the Advertiser has proven that it has dedicated and determined staff.
Their goal was to take home all the trophies at the end of the 10 months Caxton Sales Cadet Training Programme, and they have reached this goal with flying colours.
The graduation took place on Thurday, January 30, at the Birchwood Conference Centre.
Boksburg sales cadet, Ricardo de Souza, has taken home the trophee for best sales cadet of the year, and Boksburg sales representative, Carlene du Toit, was nominated by the sales cadets as the Mentor of the Year.
“I feel excited and happy to be chosen as the best sales cadet in my group, especially since this is the first year that the Caxton Training Academy launched such a programme,” says De Souza.
He was recently appointed as a fully-fledged sales representative at the Advertiser.
This training programme started off in April 2013, with 15 sales cadets, but only eight have made it to the graduation.
The 2014 Caxton Sales Cadet Training Programme is already in planning.
