St Dominic’s held an Old Girls reunion on May 6 as part of their centenary celebrations.

As part of the event, the Old Girls were given a chance to participate in a drum majorette performance to show the audience the skills they had learned while still at school.

Sharon Antonizzi, of the school’s marketing department, said the former learners were given special shirts in which to perform with the drummies.

“Those who were unable to attend the celebrations could do so virtually, via Zoom.

“The reunion gave the girls a platform to catch up with each other and the developments at our school. It is lovely to be in a room filled with people who used to attend the same school. Events like these remind you of where you came from and the ambitions you had when you left the school,” said some of the former learners.

Trophies displayed were won by the Old Girls when they used to take part in competitions.
