Assault
The police are investigating a case of assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm (domestic violence-related) after a man stabbed his wife in their house on Leith Road on March 22.

According to Boksburg North SAPS spokesperson Sergeant Justice Ramaube, police were told the man got violent during an argument with his wife and allegedly threatened her with a knife. The situation calmed down after neighbours intervened, but another argument erupted when the husband told his wife not to leave the house. He then allegedly stabbed her three times.
