Exciting national baseball matches

The championships matches will continue up until April 11.

There were exciting matches that took place over the weekend as part of the Baseball Championships that started on April 1 at the Boksburg Stadium.

They were mixed emotions at the prestigious event hosted by the Gauteng Province Baseball Council (GPBC) with some of the GPBC teams winning their first matches.

The GPBC U10 White team beat the GPBC U10 Blue side 25-5 in a thrilling first encounter, with the blue team bounching back to beat the Cape Winelands U10s 28-9.

The white team lost 9-3 against the Cape Town Red Sox.

The GPBC U12 White team enjoyed a narrow win against GPBC U12 Blue side. The final match score was 11-10 on the first day of the tournament.

In another match, also on the first day of the tournament, the blue side stunned the Mandela Bay U12s with an 8-6 defeat.

The white side continued its winning streak by beating the blue boys 6-3.

The GPBC White U15 team thrashed Limpopo 24-3.
GPBC U18 Angels proved their critics wrong by beating Mandela Bay U15s 11-6.

The GPBC U15 Blue side conquered the GPBC U15 White side in an intense match by 17-5.

All the baseball matches took place on April 1.

GPBC U15 White team lost again, but this time to the Western Cape U15 Blue side by 16-1. The GPBC Angeles U18 was beaten by the GPBC Blue U15 team 9-7.

In the other matches that also took place on April 1, Western Cape U12 Blue team had a good run by defeating the Western Cape White side 12-1.

The other match was between the Wastern Cape U15 Blue side and Western Cape U15 White team. The blue side won the match 10-0.

Before the match, the Western Cape U12 White team narrowly beat Mandela Bay U12s 7-6. The Wastern Cape Blue U15 side took another win home against Limpopo U15 by 9-3.

Western Cape U18 Blue team beat the Western Cape U18 White side 11-3. The Western Cape Blue U18 side went on to thrash the Eastern Cape U18s 20-0.

The GPBC Beavers U18s lost to Mandela Bay U18s by 12-10.
