Cosmos in need of volunteers
The charity shop plays a significant role in raising funds for the old age home.
Boksburg Society for the Aged Cosmos Old Age Home in Van Dyk Park needs volunteers to assist in their white elephant charity shop.
All the items, such as clothing and shoes, sold are sold to raise funds for the old age home.
The shop is managed by Pastor Estelle Cothill, also a committee member of the Boksburg Society for the Aged.
Due to Covid-19, the shop could not operate. However, it will open its doors to the public again on October 1.
The organisation is looking for volunteers that can work during the week on Monday, Wednesday and Friday and some Saturdays.
The shop is open on weekdays from 09:00 to 14:30 and Saturdays from 09:00 to 13:00.
