A point a piece for Boksburg FC U15

The Blues will look to collect maximum points when they face Alberton at home.

Boksburg FC U15 played KG Sports away from home on August 7 in the Easterns Local Football Association (ELFA) Premier League.

It ended in a goalless draw at the Olifantsfontein Stadium as both teams walked away with a point.

The Blues came into the game prepared as they knew what kind of game KG Sports plays.
Both teams started the game with a winning mentality and the middle of the park was packed with talented midfielders who controlled the game very well.

Boksburg FC had a good first half in terms of creation of chances but due to lack of finishing, they couldn’t register a single goal.
With both technical teams chasing three points, several changes were made at the start of the second half from both sides.

The match ended 0-0 and Boksburg FC will now focus on their next match, which they will play at home (PG Park) against Alberton on August 14.
Boksburg FC coach Heinrich Loxton said his players showed hunger throughout the entire game but insisted that luck was not on their side.

“We will take the point and the shift is now pushed towards our next game, which will be played at home.
“Playing away is always challenging especially with the referees but I must take my hat off to the referee that blew our game. He was fair, played advantage and handled the game very well,” said Loxton.
