Don’t miss this East Rand Youth Orchestra performance

The 3 500-seat church hall is an architectural masterpiece.

The East Rand Youth Orchestra, led by conductor Pienaar Fourie, will be performing Sing, Benoni, Sing! on March 12.

This year the orchestra will have a special celebration of Easter, after two years of meagre and restricted concerts due to Covid-19.

“We are honoured to be the first public orchestra to play in the church at Jatniël in Benoni,” said Fourie.

“Also, it is the first we are able to invite people from all denominations to join us in this expanded celebration. The 3 500-seat church hall is an architectural masterpiece, and the facilities and sound are amazing.”

Guests can expect beautiful music for times of reflection and gratitude.

There will be communal praise and worship, with talented soloists and instrumentalists leading the singing.

With the expanded orchestra providing the accompaniment, the audience can unite in the rousing climaxes.

There is no interval and the concert will also be streamed to churches all over the world.

Numbers are restricted to 1 000.
