Robbers plunder another shop in Boksburg North
No injuries were reported and no shots were fired.
Three armed men stormed into A-S Discount Electronics in Cason Road and made off with items worth thousands of rands.
According to Boksburg North SAPS spokesperson Const Justice Ramaube, the incident happened at 15:20.
“Police were told the manager of the shop was behind the counter when three men entered the shop, claiming they want a phone to be fixed.
“One of the men then suddenly came around the corner and grabbed four cellphone screens that were on top of each other and a cellphone.
“The manager grabbed the robber’s hand but the other two robbers pointed a firearm at him and threatened to shoot him,” said Ramaube.
The robbers fled the scene in an unknown white getaway vehicle.
Nobody was injured and no shots were fired. Police are investigating a case of business robbery.
