Love wins at Ridgeview Retirement Village

This was the first time since 2020 that the village could celebrate Valentine's Day because of Covid-19.

Love was in the air at Ridgeview Retirement Village on February 14 as residents and staff members celebrated the day with a Valentine’s Day tea.

During the event, about 40 attendees enjoyed snacks with coffee or tea while Max Maximilian sang to entertain them.

According to Julie Koster, manager of the village, it was a special day as it was the first time in two years they could celebrate Valentine’s Day because of Covid-19.

“The event was a huge success and residents had the opportunity to get together again and relax,” said Koster.
