Last car boot sale of 2021 well supported

The Advertiser thanks those who supported its car boot sale this year.

The Advertiser’s last car boot sale of the year, which took place at the Bokkie Park on November 6, was a success.

It was a sunny day and people from Boksburg and surrounding areas came through to pick up bargains on clothing, paintings, tools, kitchenware, books and toys.

Furthermore, car boot sale visitors could buy all sorts of crafts, food, drinks and enjoy live music at the Bokkie Park Craft Market.

According to Elize Kluyts, project coordinator, the initiative was well supported by community members.

“On behalf of the Advertiser, I would like to express my gratitude to every vendor and those who came out to support the car boot sale. I’m looking forward to 2022,” said Kluyts.

All Covid-19 protocols were adhered to.

The car boot sale is a Boksburg Advertiser initiative, in association with the Bokkie Park Craft Market, and is held on the first Saturday of the month at Bokkie Park in Southvale Road, Parkdene.

The next car boot sale will be held on February 5 as this was the last car boot sale for the year.

However, Bokkie Park Food and Craft Market will hold a Christmas Market (its last market for the year) on December 4.

For more information about the Christmas market, contact Janine on 072 713 3332.

Bookings for the Advertiser’s car boot sale will open in January.
