In celebration of Women’s Month, the Advertiser features some of the police officials and data typist from the Boksburg North SAPS who have been at the forefront of the pandemic as they continued to serve the community with resilience.
The Advertiser spoke to some of these staff members to find out what sets them apart from other women.
Martha Mqikela (20 years of service) said: “I am a go-getter, hard worker and very welcoming. I love seeing people happy and I definitely have a heart of gold.”
Sgt Chavalala Rivalani (12 years of service) said: “I am a giving person who loves reaching out to vulnerable women and children. I am a problem-solver, as I always come up with solutions in any given situation.”

Sonja Bezuidenhout (23 years of service) said: “What sets me apart is my personality. I am a friendly person and I don't get angry easily. I like to lend a helping hand and my welcoming personality makes people feel free around me.”
