As part of the Boksburg North SAPS’s efforts to curb long queues at their firearms office, they will now open on Saturdays from 8.30am from May 22 until the end of June.
According to Boksburg North police spokesperson Const Justice Ramaube, preference will only be made for people who want to renew their firearm licence and for the renewal of competence.
“Community members are urged to make a booking at the station’s firearms admin office and must indicate which Saturday suits them. Only 10 applicants will be assisted a day and only those people who made appointments will be assisted,” said Ramaube.
