WATCH: Two killed at Civic Centre as bus brakes fail

The Advertiser is on the scene of a fatal accident at the Boksburg Civic Centre where two women have been killed outside the clinic after being hit by a municipal bus about 30 minutes ago.

The driver lost control of the vehicle and ran over the women – one a security guard who was assisting to get people into the clinic at the civic centre, and the other a clinic patient – because the brakes of the bus allegedly failed.

He is being treated on scene by paramedics. EMPD and emergency services are on the scene and the Advertiser is awaiting the arrival of an official spokesperson to address the media. This is a developing story.
