Another successful car boot sale held

Locals enjoy latest boot sale.

People from Boksburg and surrounding areas came out in their numbers to help themselves to bargains at the Boksburg Advertiser Car Boot Sale held at Bokkie Park on March 6.

The boot sale is a monthly event held in association with the Bokkie Park Craft Market.
As expected, visitors were spoilt for choice in goods to buy, ranging from home accessories to clothes, jewellery and good food.
The Advertiser’s boot sale gives you an opportunity to sell all your second-hand goods, instead of just getting rid of it.

Each car is allocated a space where the sellers are stationed for selling their goods.

If you’re interested in being part of the boot sale and selling your goods, a fee of R100 can have your car spot reserved.

One of the vendors at the event, Witfield couple Johan and Elsie van der Merwe, said they joined the boot sale years ago and it has been a good source of extra income.
Another seller from Elspark told the Advertiser she found out about the boot sale through a friend from church, and that this was her fifth one. As a result, she invited two of her friends to “enjoy the atmosphere”.
