St Dominic’s Grade Ones return to school

Back to school for most Boksburg private schools

St Dominic’s Catholic School for Girls’ Grade One learners returned to school for their first day on February 1.

St Dominic’s joined the likes of Woodlands International College who began their 2021 academic calendar earlier than February 1.
The Advertiser had a word with some of the learners to find out how they felt about being back in school under these new but certainly unpleasant times.

Morgan Visser:

“I’m happy to be back at school because I’ve been doing home schooling and my teacher can’t really hear me so I just like being back,” she said, before commenting on how she feels about wearing a mask at school.
“It feels okay wearing a mask in school, it’s become normal.”

Zuko Zuma:

“I’m happy to be back at school because we get to do fun stuff like colouring and play time.”
