Members of Legendary Guardian Exclusive Protection, Boksburg North SAPS and AAA Alarms paid a visit to Impala Park Pre-Primary School to interact with the learners on November 6.
According to Boksburg North SAPS spokesperson Const Justice Ramaube, the officers, Sgt Gerald Deidricks, Sgt Jaco van der Mescht and Sgt Madimetja Matwetja, gave children safety tips on crime and demonstrated a child abduction scenario.
“The children were urged to always be vigilant, especially when driving with their parents.
“It’s important for children to stay focused and pay close attention to their surroundings, as it could help keep them safe,” said Ramaube.
Boksburg North SAPS colouring-in books were also handed out and Ramaube described the event as a success.
