Newly appointed Woodlands deputy principal to inspire students

Truter is passionate about inspiring students to attain their full potential

Woodlands International Senior College announced that Lizanne Truter has been appointed as the new deputy principal.

She first joined the College in 2017 in the position of head of subject for Computer Applications Technology.

During her impressive career in education, Truter has displayed a deep seated compassion for her colleagues and learners alike.

According to a statement released by the school, Truter’s outgoing and bubbly personality makes her a true people’s person and exactly the right woman to lead Woodlands College into an exciting future.

“My vision for the future of the college is to develop the STEAM education strategy, specifically in the field of robotics which is definitely the most important science to be introduced in schools for many years,” Truter said.

STEAM education is an approach to learning that uses science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics as access points for guiding student inquiry, dialogue and critical thinking.

The new deputy principal is also passionate about inspiring the students of Woodlands College to attain their full potential and become successful global citizens.
