#TekkieTax: Support St Francis Care Centre by buying R10 stickers in bulk

Members of the community can buy a sticker for R10 to support St Francis Care Centre

The St Francis Care Centre is appealing to the community to support them by buying stickers for Tekkie Tax Day.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, Tekkie Tax day will now officially take place on July 31 and no longer on May 29.
Tekkie Tax is an annual fund-raiser for a large variety of our country’s biggest, smallest and most reliable non-profit organisations (NPOs).
The national NPOs they support include various SPCAs and other animal protection organisations, the SAVF, Families SA, Lifeline SA, child welfares and other child protection organisations, Epilepsy SA, Down Syndrome SA and Cansa.
James Matli, fund-raiser at St Francis, said they would like residents to be part of the hundreds of individuals who will make a difference to these organisations.
“You don’t have to support only one NPO – if the need is there, support more than one or even all of them,” he said.
Stickers are R10 each. Matli looks forward to bulk sales of stickers in support of the St Francis Care Centre.

“We have put aside R200 batches (20 stickers) for schools, churches, companies, organisations or for friends and families to celebrate Tekkie Tax Day.”
