AfriForum supplies masks and gloves to the Boksburg Police Station
In an attempt to combat the spread of Covid-19, the local AfriForum branch donated 40 masks and 200 gloves to the Boksburg Police Station on April 14.
According to Helen Bergh, chairperson of AfriForum’s Boksburg branch, they hope to assist the SAPS in protecting them from being infected with the virus while executing their duties.
“It’s important that essential workers like police officers have adequate protective equipment as they interact with the public. It is for their own safety as well as that of the community,” she explained.
