St Francis Care Centre in need of donations
A financial contribution will also be appreciated.
St Francis Care Centre is appealing for donations to help them take care of their patients and children during the lockdown.
The organisation is in need of necessities, such baby products (milk and nappies), wet wipes, hand sanitisers, non-perishable good and even oranges.

According to the centre manager, Tilly Brouwer, with everybody home-bound, the amount of donations to the centre is dropping.
“The organisation is urgently in need of contributions to assist us in taking care of our patients and children. People don’t drive around here anymore so donations of necessities and other items are tripling,” said the manager.
Donations in the form of products may be left at the security official at the front entrance of the centre.
“People who wish to contribute may leave the items with the security guard at the gate. He has the donor book and people can merely write their details inside the book so that we can thank them later,” Tilly explained.
She further encouraged people to stay safe and adhere to the lockdown rules.
