Kasie Outreach continues to make a positive impact in communities

Kasie Outreach has also reached out the community of Somalia Park and Loliwe informal settlement, where they handed out clothing and non-perishable food.

Kasie Outreach recently donated clothes to the fire victims of Delmore informal settlement who lost all their belongings when a fire broke out in March, last year.

Since the tragic incident, over 50 families from the area are still trying to rebuild their lives.

Established in 2018, Kasie Outreach is a faith-based group that does monthly outreach programmes to the underprivileged residing in Ekurhuleni’s informal settlements.

On the day of the hand over, the affected families came through in numbers to receive adult and baby clothing.

Members from the Kasie Outreach also shared the word of God with the community.

According to Simphiwe Malunga, Kasie Outreach founder, when they heard about the unforeseen events that unfolded in Delmore last year, they eagerly wanted to reach out to the families.

“Through the gracious donations that we received from Bowen International School as well as friends and family, we decided to distribute the clothing to the affected families,” he said.
