Desktop calendars in support of rhinos now available

Calendars can be purchased at Divine Be Gracious and Janse van Rensburg may be contacted on divinebegracious@gmail.com for more information.

Desktop calendars featuring the artwork of the winners of last year’s Insimbi Legacy Projects colouring competition in association with Divine Be Gracious and Checkers Hyper is now available to the public.

Following the success of the competition, Sharon Janse van Rensburg, ambassador of the Insimbi Legacy Projects and rhino guardian, is now promoting the calendars in another effort to raise funds for the NPO

The competition was held last year with the aim to promote rhino awareness after Janse van Rensburg was dismayed at the lack of knowledge of rhinos.

Janse van Rensburg said that the calendars are also about motivating youngsters to enter this year’s even bigger competition to be held in September, which is Rhino Awareness Month.

“I’m thankful and excited about seeing the initiative of the colouring competing come to light. The support of the public has been amazing and the desktop calendars are the perfect way to round it off.

“The gentle giants at the reservation are constantly in need of our protection and care by raising funds,” she said.
