Viandré vies for Miss Gauteng, Miss SA titles in the future

Viandre wants to become a dentist, however, she is determined to become a model.

Viandré Fasasi (8) from Reiger Park started her modelling career on a high note.

She was recently crowned Miss Boksburg Toddler 2019 at the Boksburg North Centenary Hall.

It was the first time she participated in any modelling competition. During the competition, and in addition to modelling, Viandré read a poem reflecting on women who commemorated Women’s Month.

Her victory was totally unexpected for her. However, her mother, Aljardine, was not surprised at her success.

“I expected her to win as I know how hard she worked during the competition. I was also well aware of the fact that she might be shy, but once she gets into the zone, she doesn’t hold back.

“She always gives her everything and her victory was well deserved.

“Her victory was a proud moment for me. I was also happy and excited when they announced her as the winner of the competition. I know that she is proud of her title and will represent the brand with dignity,” said Aljardine.

As Miss Boksburg Toddler, her duties include representing the brand and getting involved with charity organisations.

“She is extremely excited about getting involved with charity organisations. Therefore we want her to begin with her charity work as soon as possible.”

Viandré said she had fun modelling and enjoyed spending time with the other girls in the competition.

“The crowning, modelling and making new friends, were my favourite parts of the competition. I would like to thank my parents, grandparents and other family members who supported me through this journey,” she said.

She said she would like to compete in bigger competitions such as Miss Gauteng and Miss South Africa in the future.

Her other hobbies includes ribbon dancing and swimming. She also excels academically.
