SAVF Huis Dien Bothma reflects on a productive year

Committee chairperson thanked his fellow management committee members and volunteers for their hard work and commitment to the centre.

SAVF Huis Dien Bothma reflected on a successful 2018/19 financial year during their recent AGM.

“It is a great privilege to be of service in managing a facility that creates a home for approximately 130 elderly people.

“This is a place where they can live safely so that they can enjoy the beautiful things that life has to offer,” said the chairperson of the committee, Rev Daan Bakker.

“This year we paid particular attention to renovating, upgrading some of the cottages and did all the maintenance work that could be handled within our budget.

“Along with a special year for our residents, our service management also handled difficult issues in a way that residents’ care was not affected.”
