A Boksburg North man has been arrested for allegedly raping his girlfriend on May 4.
The 28-year-old victim alleged that on that day she was with her boyfriend and two of her other friends at a local tavern in Boksburg North.
According to Const Justice Ramaube, spokesperson for the Boksburg North SAPS, the 28-year-old woman alleged she went with her boyfriend to his room on May 5 around 3am.
“The woman said they had consensual sex and then they slept. However, the woman said her boyfriend asked again for sex, but she refused. He then allegedly forced himself on her.”
Ramaube said the woman then immediately got dressed and went to the Boksburg North SAPS to open a case.
A case of rape was opened and the suspect was arrested.
