East Rand Toyota’s Erwee knighted for 13th time
This is a remarkable achievement for Erwee since the entire Toyota network competes for the Knight of the Year title.
East Rand Toyota’s Martin Erwee has won the Toyota Automark Sales Executive Knight of the Year accolade for the 13th consecutive time.
Erwee was knighted for his top services to Toyota during the investiture ceremony held at Champagne Sports Resort in the Drakensberg on March 16.
Although Erwee had been knighted 13 times, he said every time feels like the first time.
“I haven’t got a word to describe the feeling, but all I can say is that it’s such a big achievement to be crowned as the best of the best. I’m still on cloud nine about my achievement.
“I don’t go there expecting to win, but always hope for it because it’s a highly contested competition that requires a lot of effort.
“I would also like to thank management and our clients because without them it won’t be possible to achieve this. And, last but not least, I thank my wife, Michelle, who is always supportive, understanding of my absence at home when I’m busy with work and she never threw a tantrum when I arrived home a bit late due to work,” said Erwee.
Erwee also won a trip to Botswana with his partner, this year.
