The Boksburg North’s crime prevention officers, led by Capt Phineas Madlala, on March 13 embarked on an operation aimed at creating a safer environment around the area.
According to the Boksburg North SAPS communications officer, Const Justice Ramaube, seven suspects were arrested for various crimes.
“Three were specifically arrested for possession of dagga and two for possession of other drugs. One of these suspects failed to produce a valid passport.
“Another suspect was arrested for fraud and the last one for being an illegally undocumented immigrant,” Ramaube said.
All arrested suspects were detained and will be appearing at Boksburg Magistrate’s Court soon.
