Boksburg Cricket Club earns a sponsorship

Boksburg has made a flying start to the campaign with a six-wicket bonus point win away to Springs Old Boys on October 6.

The Boksburg Cricket Club received a major boost ahead of the new season with the announcement of their new shirt sponsor for the 2018/19 Eastern Cricket Premier League campaign.

Combined Motor Holdings (CMH) East Rand, have joined forces with the Prince George Park outfit for at least this season in a deal which will see the CMH logo feature on the club’s shirts, and banners feature at the club’s home base.

Combined Motor Holdings Limited is a South African-based investment holding company engaged primarily in distribution and franchising of motor retailers and car hire.

CMH East Rand’s Colin Kruger said: “We look forward to this community involvement initiative of sponsoring the Boksburg Cricket Club.

“It’s good exposure for us and the club and we would like to get more involved with the community by getting the Isuzu, Opel and Subaru brands out there.”

BCC captain Adam Frobes, commented: “We’re excited as the Boksburg Cricket Club to have a sponsor. It gives us an incentive to play better.

“It’s always nice to know you have people backing you because you can focus more on your game.”
