Miss Teen Social Entrepreneur finalist ready to raise her voice against abuse
The pageant is focused and determined on providing the platform where all young girls can gain the confidence and knowledge to be the best they can be while making a positive impact.
Grade 11 learner at Curro Helderwyk Maxine Ellan from Sunward Park is a finalist for the Miss Teen Social Entrepreneur South Africa 2018.
The 16-year-old said she entered the pageant because she saw it as a great platform to raise awareness against women and child abuse and other social issues.
The pageant is aimed at high school girls who are eager to make a difference in their communities with the goal of creating awareness about social responsibility, as well as developing social entrepreneur.
