• Thieves forced their way into a business in Dunswart and stole equipment and meat products on July 6.
The owner told the police that he was at home when he received a call from a security company, informing him of the break-in at his business.
When the owner arrived at the premises, he discovered that thieves forced opened one of the windows to gain entry into the building.
Police are investigating a business robbery case.
• Police are investigating a case of burglary and theft after thieves broke a window of a residential house in Lancaster Road, Parkdene, to gain entry and stole goods including a TV set, tablet, jewellery, clothing and a cellphone. The burglary occurred on July 7.
• Sometime between June 22 and 26, burglars forced their way into a residential property on Spreeu Road, Sunward Park, and stole goods including perfumes, clothing, groceries, a microwave, toiletries, money, tools, speakers and other valuable items.
• In Farrar Park, thieves were able to steal a large number of goods worth thousands of rands after cutting a hole in the fence of a business located on Rondebult Road.
According to the police, sometime between July 6 and 7, thugs cut a hole in the fence to gain access, before they overpowered the security and stole solar panels, batteries, electric cables and tool boxes.
No arrests have been made so far, but police are investigating.
