Suspects urinates, defecates on crime scene

House owners in Jacobs Street, Jansen Park, were shocked to find that suspects had literally left their mark on the scene, after entering the property during the early hours of February 8.

According to the complainant, the paving outside the door of the flat on the premises was littered with human faeces.

She added that the suspects also urinated against the door of the main house.

Apparently the suspects broke into the flat – where the complainant’s grandchildren live – through the glass door, and managed to get away with a flat-screen TV and an Xbox.

“They were asleep and did not hear a thing,” the complainant explained.

She assumes that the suspects gained access to the premises by climbing over the palisade fence which secures the property.

The complainant also told the Advertiser that her vehicle was ransacked.

“Everything that was in the cabin hole was thrown onto the seats. They also emptied the ashtray in my vehicle.”

This was allegedly the first time in eight years that the complainant’s property had been broken into.

“They’ve violated my privacy, but I won’t become a prisoner in my own house,” she said.

The complainant thanks the community for their support.

Boksburg North SAPS communications officer, Capt Juanita Coetzer, confirmed the incident and said that a case of housebreaking is under investigation.
