A colourful deceleration of care
The 2015 Automark Knight of the Year winner, Martin Erwee from East Rand Toyota, hosted a colouring competition for the children at the New Beginnings Care Centre crèche recently.
A total of 63 children participated in the competition and some of the most deserving learners were crowned winners as they coloured the best out of the bunch.
Erwee expressed his excitement and said his vision for this whole colouring competition is to motivate the learners to be proud of whatever work they do at the crèche.
“I want a better life for these children as they are the leaders of tomorrow.”
The children were awarded with gold medals and special hampers that consisted of different Lindt chocolates.
“I’m very happy about the initiative brought forward to motivate these learners to learn through coloring,” said co-coordinator, Vee Shuttleworth.
“The learners are very motivated and inspired. We are glad as this competition is a wonderful inspiration to these learners and it also awakens the sense of competition in the learners to do better next time.”
