The victim is lucky to be alive after her assailants drove around with her in the boot of her car for a long time.

They also tore off her pair of pantyhose before dumping her in a deserted area unknown to her.

The woman told the police that the drama began when she arrived at the stop street, corner of Ellof Street and Voortrekker Road, where she noticed three men driving in a white double-cab bakkie in front of her BMW 320d.

According to the police report, as she slowed down, two men got out of the white double-cab bakkie, pointed a firearm at her, and demanded that she open the window of her car.

The victim complied and opened the door. One of the thugs jumped into her car, pushing her to the passenger seat.

The other hijacker got into the back seat.

They covered the victim’s face with something, apparently to prevent her from seeing their faces, and drove off with her.

The report states that one of the hijackers repeatedly attempted to rape her, but his accomplice later instructed him to stop sexually assaulting the victim.

The men took the woman’s bank card and forced her to give them the personal identification number, threatening to kill her should she give them a wrong PIN.

They also took her cellphone, iPad, GPS device, petrol card and other bank cards.

Eventually the thugs stopped the vehicle in a deserted area and they let her out of the boot and told her to walk away.

That’s when a motorist noticed the terrified woman on the side of the road and he stopped and offered her a lift to Bezuidenhout Street, Boksburg.

She then borrowed a cellphone to call her husband before reporting the matter to the police.

Boksburg police said they are investigating a case of hijacking and robbery. -@FanieFLK
