Australian Circus Spectacular ends tour at Carnival City
The Australian Circus Spectacular ends its nationwide South African tour at Carnival City at the end of May.
Produced by the makers of the acclaimed Great Moscow Circus and Great Euro Circus in Australia, AUSSIE: The Australian Circus Spectacular has been touring South Africa, thrilling audiences.
The show reaches a crescendo in the Big Top Arena between May 26 and 29 when the talented, daring and slightly insane performers will dazzle Gauteng audiences with their incredible feats.
This production is a modern and exclusively human, feel-good circus spectacular that blends stunning cirque style acrobatics, hilarious slapstick comedy and extreme, high-octane stunts.
It is the first time that this circus has visited foreign soil, and it promises to leave audiences in awe with the cast performing unbelievable feats. Highlights of the show include one of the world’s few surviving human cannonball acts performed by an expert stuntman Luiz Daza who has literally flown over audiences seven days a week during the sell-out run of the Great Euro Circus in Australia.
Audiences will also marvel at the dizzying Globe of Death act which features up to five motorbike riders circling a daring dancer with Mad Max-style bravado before the sphere splits in half.
Thrilling freestyle motorcross riders then jump the Globe of Death in a rush that will excite any petrolhead.
Between these breathtaking and death-defying stunts, a troupe of talented and equally daring entertainers will perform amazing feats of human endurance, skill and strength.
Prepared to be thrilled by the Queen of the Silks, Kiarnn, vaudevillian performer and slapstick comedian, Val De Fun, the illusion of the salsa-dancing quick-change act and the duo pole performance by Edison and Giselle.
