The Centurion Record reported that a Laudium ‘mafioso’ was killed and another man injured during a shooting near Presley’s in Boksburg on Tuesday night.
The publication named the dead man as Ziyaad Janoo, and added that he gained popularity after featuring in a viral video, ‘Chicky Lamba’, in which he and his friends kidnapped a man and threatened him with a gun in 2014.
The Gauteng Provincial Police could not be drawn to comment on whether or not yesterday’s shooting near Presley’s in North Rand Road involved drugs.

Another video went viral where Janoo claimed to run Pretoria and Lenasia in Johannesburg.
