One dead, another critically injured in North Rand Road shooting
One man has died and another is in critical condition following an alleged shooting incident near Presley's this evening.
ER24 reported that paramedics and other services attended to a shooting incident in Boksburg North, earlier this evening.
On arrival, paramedics found two men in a vehicle.
“Upon assessment of the men believed to be in their 20’s it was found that one had sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
“Sadly there was nothing that could be done for the patient as he had succumbed to his injuries.”
ER24 said the second person, who was also shot, was found in a critical condition.
“He was treated and airlifted by a private medical helicopter to hospital for further medical care.”
The circumstances surrounding the incident are unknown and the authorities were on scene for further investigations.
