These include dozens of bottles and cans of beer, cider, whisky, brandy and spirits.
Police patrolling the area became suspicious after noticing a large number of people frequenting the establishment.
Upon investigation they discovered that the owner was trading without a valid license. The business operator allegedly attempted to bribe the officers with R200.
However, the no-nonsense police officers seized all alcohol found on the premises and charged the owner with dealing in liquor without a valid license as well as bribery.
The haul of alcohol was taken to the Boksburg police station, where it will eventually be poured down the drain.
