Wedding expo to aid Brogan

Angel Weddings and Events will host a wedding expo, which will also serve as a fund-raiser to help Brogan Mahony.

The event will be held at Summerfield Primary School, at 10am on August 29.

Mahony was brutally attacked and left unconscious on Commissioner Street, on his 26th birthday, on December 14, 2013.

He was found by paramedics at 3am and was rushed to The Life Glynnwood Hospital, in Benoni, with severe head injuries, resulting from allegedly being beaten with a brick.

Neurosurgeon Dr Enrico Branca, who is the doctor in the Neuro Ward, where Brogan was being treated, confirmed that Brogan is brain damaged.

Small businesses can come on board during the expo, to advertise their companies and, at the same time, help Mahony with his treatment.

There is an area still open for either a tea garden or a display area.

Should you wish to be a part of this day, contact Angie Beukes from Angel Wedding and Events on 083 874 3049, or send an e-mail to event.angelweddings@gmail.com.

The closing date for bookings is August 1, as space for exhibitors is limited. – @IschkeBoksburg
