Foetus found in drain

A foetus has been found by municipal workers, when unblocking a drain, in Mappleton Ext 12 on Monday morning, May 11.

This is according to Dawn Park police spokesperson, Capt Charles Tshabalala.

“We received a call from one of the contractors working for the municipality that while they were busy cleaning the area, they found a foetus in a blocked drain,” said Tshabalala.

Tshabalala said investigations continue to determine who is responsible for the dumping of the foetus.
