Parkrand Tennis Complex delivers another player for SA

Parkrand Tennis Complex (PTC) u-15 rising star, Samantha Johnson, has become the latest player from the club to be selected to represent the country.

Johnson earned her call-up amid recently slamming her way into the top 10 national rankings, joining fellow PTC player Henco Doman, in representing the country in the upcoming Schools Team Tournament to be staged in the UK next month.

According to a statement from the Complex, Johnson’s inclusion has become a dream-come-true for the St Dominics pupil who’s dedicated her time to the game.

“Hopefully one day we will see a homegrown talent on the international circuit. This tour will go a long way to exposing our talented youngsters to international competition and giving them valuable experience,” says the Complex’s Owen O’Neill.

Her inclusion in the national set-up sees PTC having the honour of having two SA junior players who are members of the Complex.

Any interested persons wanting to join the club or requiring additional information, can contact Owen O’Neill on 084 565 6322, or e-mail parkrandtennis@signatures.za.net.
