XUV 700 bags no less than 1 100 pre-orders
Good marketing is about creating demand and then offering an incentive as a reward to encourage pre-orders. Mahindra did this brilliantly!
Winning the Car of the Year in India, the scene was set for the new XUV 700 to be in high demand in South Africa where the Mahindra brand is one of the fastest growing in the country.
Pre-orders have now closed, but once deliveries start those first 700 customers who have paid their deposits can opt for a free service plan with an extended warranty, or a set of running boards, a tow bar, and a R3 000 fuel card at no cost to them.
Three models of the XUV700 are available at launch, with the XUV700 AX5 starting at R474 999 and the range topping XUV700 AX7 L priced at R559 999.
All three models are fitted with a 149kW two-litre petrol engine, with luxuries such as a digital super screen for the vehicle information and infotainment system and a large skyroof panoramic sunroof.
